men loving men..
...a gay sex guide. i believe they're serious, which makes the cover picture even more rediculus. not a pose i would've chosen if i were in charge. although, it does make for a good laugh and i was feeling like my blog was running a bit short of some man on man. there really isn't enough of it.
while i'm at it, i'll add a picture that i quite love. something about the old up the skirt thing always gets me. and i've noticed lately that i've been drawn to victorian porn.

gettin' handsy
i decided that my blog needed a hand or two in it since am a fan of them. you can tell a lot about a person by their hands, there is so much pulchritude and wisdom in them. so here's a couple:
this one has a biblical feel to it; the damned reaching up to heaven.
these are three very cool coat hangers.
a couple very alluring hands.
i mostly liked the organ in this one.

bag o' bones
so in my travels on the internet i came across a blog called skull a day. basically it looks like they post pictures of different skulls found all over in creative, fun ways, which is totally tits! of course it insipered me to do the same since i have a deep appreciation for not just skulls but the human body/structure in general. i guess beeing that i am a radiographer, i should.
here is a known picture by vania zouravliov. the detail in his work is fantastic!
and of course i have to add in some stuff from skull a day as well. here are some of my favorites:
i'll never look at the snowflakes i used to make in elementary school the same way again.
they called this one "skull-aide" HA!
this was my favorite one from their site!
condoms- lots of fun!!
this one was done by ben cove- too cool! i wonder if it's yarn all the way through..
this is a georgeous piece from biddy moroney. i love the whole life from death message, she brought it across really well.
now here is a series of stuff from chiho aoshima.
it almost looks like the skulls are a part of the ocean spray.
chiho has done a few pieces on entire walls and at least one whole room.
this reminds me of "the birth of venus painting" by sandro botticelli
oooh, this is another favorite! i like the swirly smoke.
trees + vines = love
a little different style than most of her work but, i like the little pixie skeletons.
now for a series of stuff from audrey kawasaki:
another artist who does absolutely fabulous eyes. what i wouldn't give to have a hair piece like that.
fantasy hair
my absolute favorite!! there's no bones but i just couldn't resist.
yummy!
very pretty; a lot of her work has a sexy, lesbian vibe to it but they always look so innocent.
a sloth scarf
i like how the wood grain goes with the wispy wind in the painting.
i found this on who killed bambi by christian weber
transparent skeleton by melli ink
tim burton is awesome!
ana mendieta
i want this bone tree by gerta steiner & jorge lenzlinger.

Trees!
work by kevin dyer. i love how he incorporated the human face and animals in the tree itself.

more kevin dyer. this one is the dream tree. reminds me of lord of the rings, which makes sense because i know in the movies they took a lot of their design inspiration from celtic culture, especially for the dwarves.

knitted tree trunks! nothing like adding a bit of color. must have taken forever to do this!

and yet another tree with a little more color than usual. the person who found this tree said it was creepy, pagan looking and repulsive. i found it captivating! the branches look like long fingered hands reaching out to feel the air. it has character.

such a beautiful picture.

oh my god, i want this pendant!!

fun with photoshop.

totally wicked tree houses. it's like james and the giant peach.

i think dead trees have such a dark beauty to them, with such personality.
sometimes i just can't contain myself and i have to frolic with the trees. this one looked so happy standing there naked- a freedom very few people enjoy.
this is an old picture of me with this beautiful tree taken by my friend nicole rork who is a most awesome photographer, she did my wedding (her first!) i love how everything looks lit up on an overcast day. i have always been in love with trees. i'm not sure if it's because we didn't see much of them growing up in vegas so they seemed more precious. they seem to have so much personality, and steadfastness. they are awe-insipring to me.

beautiful photography by a uk artist.

there's a sort of whimsical feel to his work.

marvelous!

the trunk looks like two people dancing. i love the play on colors as well.

60's sci-fi fantasy tree. wicked!!

tree sculpting. who says trees can't dance?!

i wish this was the road to my house.

the luminescent green contrasted with the deep browns of the tree trunks make my eyes smile.

birch fall
bone tree by gerta steiner & jorg lenzlinger. love it, love it!
