the first thing i though when i saw this was 
the hills or mountains in the background here remind me of the nintendo mario games.
these were all lovely paintings by Amy Sol. she is from korea and moved to las vegas (my home town!). you can definately see the korean influence in her work. i love the fact that she does her paintings with the acrilic on the wood, it gives it such an earthy feel which is great.
I love art in any form. i've dabbled in all kinds of stuff like drawing, painting, dancing, piano ect. but i don't particularly view my self as talented as most. so, i settle for living vicariuosly through other more endowed people.
